1. January
Annual Nashville & Middle Tennessee events that take place in January include favorites like Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Nashville Boat Show, and the wildly popular Sound & Speed Festival.
2. February
February in Middle Tennessee is all about Valentine's Day & Romance but it also offers some of the best antiques shows to be found in the state that include the Heart of Country Antiques Show as well as the Antiques & Garden Show Annual.
3. March
The arrival of St Patrick's Day and Easter is a sure sign that Spring is just around the corner and some of this month's favorite nnual Nashville & Middle Tennessee events that take place include Cheekwood's Wildflower Fair and of course, the popular Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.
4. April
April showers have arrived but that's not enough to put a damper on this month's events. No sir, this month everyone comes out to enjoy Mules Days, the music of Gospel Music Week and the Dove Awards as well as getting plenty more tunes and exercise at the Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon.
5. May
Some of Middle Tennessee's favorite events this month include Mother's Day & Memorial Day but it's also time for Tennessee Strawberry Festivals to kick off as well as some local vineyards wine events that include plenty of music & wine.
6. June
Annual Nashville & Middle Tennessee events that take place in June are all about the music, from Bonnaroo to the CMA Country Music Festival, it's mind boggling.
7. July
From the Riverfront Fireworks to Belle Meade's Concert on the Lawn, July in Middle Tennessee sure offers a ton of opportunities to bring a lawn chair and sit a spell.
8. August
August brings Tennessee's Annual Sales Tax Holiday as well as a reminder that it's back to school time in Middle Tennessee. But before you wave goodbye to the summermake sure to stop and see a few favorites that include the Tomato Art Fest, Miss Martha's Old Fashioned Ice Cream Crankin, and the Nashville Shakespeare Festival.
9. September
As Autumn approaches, you can find local festivals and events throughout Middle Tennessee including the Tennessee State Fair and plenty of jazz music at the likes of Franklin's Jazz, Blues & Heritage Festival as well as the Music City Jazz, Blues & Heritage Festival.
10. October
Witches, Ghouls & Goblins roam throughout Middle Tennessee every October - but there's more to see and do. Some of this month's most well liked events also include the annual Opry Celebrations and Oktoberfest.
11. November
As November begins, Middle Tennessee quiets down a bit but don't that stop your quest for entertainment because folks can still find plenty to enjoy including the Season of Celebration and Wine Down Main Street.
12. December
Once you see how busy Nashville & Middle Tennessee is in December you will no doubt understand why last month was so quiet - everyone needed a month to prepare for all of the Holiday and Annual events that take place this month. It kicks off with Opryland's "A Country Christmas" and doesn't slow down until the last drop of champagne has been poured on New Year's Eve.
